Essential Care is a family run company based in Suffolk, UK which has been developing certified organic skin care and body care products for many years. Essential Care products are handmade using plant oils and biodynamic herbs, all ingredients they use have a therapeutic value. Essential Care came about due to the lack of products suitable for family members with very sensitive and eczema-prone skin. Creating truly effective formulations, based only on organic herbs, plant oils and natural active ingredients has gained Essential Care many awards over the years and placed them at the forefront of organic skin care.

Many of the Essential Care range are certified by the Soil Association. They support fair trade, natural farming methods and sourced their ingredients locally where possible. The plant oils they choose are virgin and cold-pressed so that they have their full antioxidant vitamin-content intact.

All Essential Care products are free from potentially unhealthy synthetic chemicals such as SLS, Parabens, Petroleum Oils, Mineral Oils, Lanolin and Artificial Colours, Preservatives and Fragrances. All the ingredients Essential Care use, except for the emulsifier beeswax, are plant-derived. All Essential Care products are handmade in small batches to ensure maximum freshness and are never tested on animals.
