www.good-energy.co.uk  This energy supplier offers 100% renewable energy. It supplies energy generated from wind, solar and small scale hydro via the national grid.

 
INSURANCE, BANKS, ETC
www.greeninsurancecompany.co.uk  This is a car insurance company that offers 100% offset of your car’s annual emissions, gives low emissions discounts, gives 5% of its profits to charity and gives you peace of mind.
www.eta.co.uk  This website is amazing, it offers motor insurance, home insurance, cycle insurance, travel insurance, breakdown cover and much more. The Environmental Transport Association also offers resources such as a carbon calculator, green route finder and a car buyer’s guide. Once on their website it’s hard to get off, truly fascinating.

ORGANISATIONS & CHARITIES
www.iar.org.uk  This is an amazing charity that amongst other things rescues dancing bears and sets them free. One of our team several years ago witnessed dancing bears in a market in Laos; she says it was one of the most disturbing things she has ever seen an animal be put through.
www.wwf.org  The World Wildlife Foundation is a truly incredible organisation. Their website is a wealth of information on all sorts of issues. Have a look, our team are often on it.
www.cancerresearchuk.org  Such a well known charity but always worth more support. Members of the team have taken part in one of the 10km runs Cancer Research put on every year. They said it was a great experience and a truly enjoyable day.
www.cancerbuddiesnetwork.org  We at The Organic Collective think this is such a great idea. This charity gets people living through similar cancer experiences, be them patients, carers, family or friends together.
www.woodlandtrust.org.uk  This is a charity that is solely dedicated to the protection of our native woodland heritage, they also help to replace woods that have been lost. They sympathetically manage their woodlands for both us and the wildlife to enjoy. Their website is amazing it offers pictures, maps and a directory of their woods. Here at The Organic Collective we love to enjoy these magical places with our children and pets, and cannot imagine the UK without them. Have a look and be inspired.
www.treesforcities.org  Trees For Cities is an independent charity which works to advance the education of the public in the appreciation of trees and their amenity value. They run education projects within schools and the community; they offer vocational training in arboriculture, horticulture and woodland management.
